STM Bus #11-083 taken during Afternoon Rush Hour on Route #74 - Bridge Street. See if you can see what's strange about this pic? Strange and Unusual Sightings |

| Instant fav! I spotted it right away... Oh you sticky grey fabric who haven't you kept together? |
|---|
| (sorry for the double post) Red Green would be proud! |
|---|
| You Got it right on!
I have never seen them use duct tape this way before. I guess this should be added to the million and one uses for duct tape. :) |
| |
Hmmm. Spectator stands, I wonder if they have demonstrations here? - This is also one of the only places you'll see CN and CP rolling stock attached to each other. Visit to the ExpoRail Train Museum |

| "This is also one of the only places you'll see CN and CP rolling stock attached to each other."
Obviously never stood next to the tracks and watched a train go past. CN and CP rolling stock are frequently seen together on the same train.

Station: Honore-Beaugrand - The scene of the accident lay beyond these tracks. Yellow danger tape and flashing red lights warn trains not to enter the garage area. STM Metro Collection |
|---|
| for real there is an accident of two trains? |
|---|
| Well, it was just one train. What had happened was, one car of the train went off the tracks while going onto a siding and hit the wall damaging the train and wall, and preventing all the trains from leaving this garage for a good two weeks. During this time we had 2 or 3 Orange Line (MR73) trains running on the Green Line. |

STM Bus #56-057 (Interior). Look at those spider webs at the back right of the bus. The end of the Line... |

A driver's side view of the bus; notice the numbers have been blacked out. As well, a few of the standee windows have been taken out as well. The Last of its kind... |
|---|
| why do they blaken out the numbers?
|---|
| Not sure, guess they use it to let them know it's retired and not to accidentally put it into service. |

A few tourists (or metro fanatics) were taking a few photographs from the otherside of the platform at the same time! Bud-Wei-Ser & Sony |

STM Bus #15-026 - 1995 Nova Classic: It was a very windy day, and several advertisements were flying off the sides of the buses, including this one in the photo. Strange and Unusual Sightings |
|---|
| While we were traveling down the street I noticed a weird noise and wondered what it was. It sounded like the wheel was loose or there was something dragging underneath the bus, but the fact was that it was that advertisement sign slapping against all the parked cars on Park Ave. |

RTL Bus #20105 - 2003 Van Hool AG300 near TCV RTL / STRSM Collection |

STM Bus #22-293 - 2002 NovaLFS (Let me know what you guys think of the photography). :) The STM LFS Collection |
|---|
| damn this pic is much better then the other ones, you're metro collection are all blury LOL |
|---|
| Thanks. These pics date back to 2005 and some as far back as 2002, so they're not the best of the best. I think I've gotten better over the years, and with the new digital camera technology I think my latest ones turned out the best. But this pic in particular was probably one of my best at the time! |

With the Bell Center in background, a marvellous image.
We hope to have a lot of other great buses in your gallery. Keep your good work. |

STM's Rechaud Bus Youville, Revisited... |
|---|
| Is the Rechard Bus still in service? |
|---|
| Yes, however the STM is looking to turn a retired Classic into the next Rechaud bus when this New Look stops working. |
| |
STM Bus #12-071 - Unusal damage ,usually caused by a hard hit front end collision, yet the front looks undamaged. Youville, Revisited... |
|---|
| A friend who works on these for a large transit agency says that the area just after the rear wheels is notorious for corrosion, and that the rear end beyond the wheels will "sag" as a result. Evidently the later MCIs are even worse than the earlier ones, so a 1989 or 1991 might actually be in worse shape than a 1987. It looks as though this sort of thing might be happening here. |
|---|
| I've been hearing other people mention that this problem has occured on several STM vehicles already, and it's a well known occurance on the models that you mentioned which were more affected by this problem. |
| |
Except for the cloudy blackened tint of the window, you can still see the destination indicating "202 Dawson". Another One Bites The Dust... |
|---|
| You can see another bus that caught fire on the left |
|---|
| Yeah, that was Bus #17-098 another 17-xxx Series. I believe that there were a total of 3 major fires on the 17 series, and several minor fires on this and other series LFS throughout the years. They are still on the property to this day for some reason. Not much you can salvage from these I wouldn't think. |
| |
The charred vehicle sits by itself on its stilts. Another One Bites The Dust... |
|---|
| will they keep this bus until it all collapses? |
|---|
| They're waiting to see if the manufacturer will refund them for this if it ends up being the fault of Novabus. And even to this day it's still sitting back there alongside the rest of the burnt carcases of this same model. |

ex-STM Bus #24-069 - GM New Look Youville, Revisited... |
|---|
| What a same to see that these 24000 buses could have been rebuilt or sold instead they were scraped after 2002. Typical of poor stm managemet. |
|---|
| Montreal started the trend, then STL/RTL followed and went as far as Quebec City's RTC transit commisions who now have no New Looks opperating in service. Toronto's TTC and Ottawa's OC Transpo are the two largest transit companies in Canada who still use New Looks in everyday service, and I'm really happy about that. During my visit to Ottawa I counted atleast 30 New Looks, and photographed most of those that I saw: http://metrobus.fotopic.net/c883945.html during my "Day at the OC". |

STM Bus #54-041 - 1984 GM Classic Youville, Revisited... |
|---|
| here the numbers are rare that say ''84''. |
|---|
| Hehehe, I thought you might enjoy the hidden meaning to the destination! :) |
| |
STM Bus #54-041 - 1984 GM Classic: Note the strange destination on the roll-sign, 545 Cote-des-Neiges. Very Bizarre! Youville, Revisited... |
|---|
| The bus route 545 Ct des Neiges was in service in the late 80's from champ de mars metro stn along Rene -Levesque then up Ct des Neiges. |
|---|
| I see that the 545 is being used for several different purposes, all related to Shuttle Service nowadays. (Cremazie/HB, Frontenac shuttle as well as Papineau shuttle this past winter). And it's been used as a shuttle for FINA participants this past summer, and as well as by drivers who like fooling around with their destination signs, or have persistent busfans requesting it: http://mystic.fotopic.net/p24718283.html . |

issing a seat here, or several for that matter. J'arrive! |
|---|
| Perhaps for handicapped people... notice the hand rail under the map and window. Mind you, it's would still be a challenge for them going up and down the escalators. |
|---|
| Well, the STM plans on installing elevators in some of their stations in the future, however, I find it a waste of space presently, and it doesn't look very well placed. This is supposed to be a "rebuilt" MR73, but it looks more like a half-done prototype. (No wonder we're still waiting for the rest of the rebuilt trains to come into service.) |
|---|
| There was a seat there..
the same kinda as in low-floor bus..
you could get it up and down..
however I was err...
witness to it's demise to a .. rather large lady..
Basically , she sat on it and it broke o.O;; |
